| In my mid 20's I had what I thought, well was told were my impacted wisdom teeth removed, ...anyway, for the past few days I have had a sore face, (only one side)...and swollen gum. I thought perhaps something I had eaten had got caught between the gum and top rear molar, only to discover tonight with the help of a friend that there appears to be another tooth coming through after feeling it with my tongue , the top of it cut through tonight. It's definitely the crown of another tooth, is pointy white, and I can feel the raised edged lop sided effect of where the other half of it's trying to break through the gum also... Now I'm really confused. I'm in my early 30's and wasn't expecting this... am in fact wondering if it is a wisdom tooth, and or if they can grow back...perhaps they removed what they thought were my wisdom teeth last time, though were only my 2nd molars? Strange ...as I'm not looking forward to having yet another round of dental surgery. I'm hoping it decides to go back up into the gum and stay there, but I doubt it, given the other half of it appears to be on it's way now that one part of the crown has already broken through the gum. This explains the pressure feeling I have been getting in my upper mouth/jaw and mild pain on one side of the face for the last few months. Not overly painful, but a pushy pressure annoying feeling that felt strange.. I honestly thought it was neuralgia, as did my dentist a few months ago when I described it to her during a check-up and clean. | |

| Pmsl..perhaps I'm growing a third row of teeth like a bloody alien or something...lol!! *head shakes* Anyway, it's not painful enough to warrant even panadol yet, so will wait and see what happens. If I wake up with a protrusive third row of teeth and an unusual attraction to strawberry icecream, be very afraid.... I reckon they got it wrong, reckon they removed what they thought were my wizzies last time were probably just regular molars. I have never heard of wisdom teeth growing back. I want twice the gas and two injections this time, or they aren't touching it. Now my ears red and burning on the left side of my face. *head shakes* | |
