A WOMAN accused of biting the lip of a seven-month-old baby at a Brisbane childcare centre will face a committal hearing later this month.
Archa Inprom, 39, a staff member at ABC Learning's Indooroopilly East centre, in Brisbane's western suburbs, was suspended in October after the allegation was made.
Ms Inprom, from Auchenflower, is charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of common assault.
Both offences allegedly took place on October 14.
It is understood Ms Inprom had a blue card - the Queensland authority to work with children - and was a fully accredited childcare worker.
The court today heard she would face a committal hearing on February 17.

The woman is an absolute monster, I shudder to think how many other children she's harmed without having been caught.
This vicious animal deserves a lengthy prison sentence.
If it were a dog, it would be destroyed... would it not?
