Goodmorning personables, no, I am still on dialup, so it's not fixed yet.
Have decided to tell my current ISP to jam their service....we have emailed them the "PROOF" they requested, though I have a feeling this was just to stall us... probably hoped that we wouldn't have been able/bothered to forward the proof on.
My son wants me to change anyway, he thinks our current ISP is crap!
Says we could be getting much more for a lot less!
He's probably right, so am going to try and use their poor customer service as a means to exit a contract, have to make a few inquiries today however, this and do it properly.
I suspect there is a procedure we need to follow in order to demonstrate we have sound grounds to exit our contract (as consumers not receiving the goods/service we signed up for) , ie we send 3 letters of demand or some such other ....(consumer claims tribunal will know)... I will make sure I exit properly.
And if it's practicable,(we can legally exit the contract) I will go with another mob before this current contract expires.
My son is so impatient, thinks you can just switch plans and break contracts just like that....bullshit, they will stalk us for the rest of our lives, this and with interest.
Young man, you have much to learn!
I have requested a call back from their CS department, so now will wait.
Anyway...what have I missed?
