Remember kid's movies? They were those curious gems of your childhood that you would like to think shaped you into the moral, upstanding adult that you are today. From the animated classics of Walt Disney to the animatronic acid trips of Jim Henson, there are dozens upon dozens of titles that almost all Americans within a broad age range have seen at one point or another. But when was the last time you went back and actually EXAMINED these films? What would it be like to watch these films with grown life experience, instead of the naive fascination of youth?

It was a question I asked myself constantly, so I made it a point to sit and go over a few of these classics which I look back on so fondly. You can imagine my shock when I made some of the following discoveries:

1. The Neverending Story

Right off the bat, I picked one of my favorites from the 80's, The Neverending Story. Based off the book of the same name by Michael Ende, this Wolfgang Peterson directed masterpiece was my first introduction to serious adventure and fantasy as it followed a small boy, Bastien, reading from The Neverending Story (a novel he has so sneakily shoplifted from a creepy bookselle). During one of the most frightening thunder storms ever not caught on film, Bastien proceeds to read the story, as we are treated to the adventure from inside his imagination. In TNES, Atreyu, a young warrior, is called upon to save Fantasia from the Nothing, a mysterious force that is threatening the very existance of the world. Fantasia, I assume, is a metaphor for imagination, while the Nothing stands for growing up (something Bastien's father insists upon at the start of the film).

But on a second viewing of this film, I realized something strange. During the film, Atreyu is assisted by a flying luck dragon named Falcor. Falcor has long since become an icon of 80's children's cinema, but few step back and recognize him for what he really is: a pedophile rapist. Watch this unedited scene to which I am referring:

Case in point. All throughout the movie, we are following two young boys interacting with various older men (and luck dragons). Mr. Korreander, the book dealer, seems all but ready to abduct young Bastien. Then the Falcor thing. On top of that, we have an old dwarf who is getting aroused by the thought of Atreyu's quest, and a wolf - agent of the Nothing - who stalks the young boy the entire story before ending up on top of him, impaled on Atreyu's knife. Let's move on.

Take a closer look at the pagan symbol.....

Now feast your mind back to a site I referred to a few weeks back which temporarily housed Doc and co.....The site was called fantasia aka Phantasia from the movie and book....Never Ending story...

And to think, they really do think they're so clever.

Cool Look at the symbol again.

Yes, it's a never ending knot which symbolises eternity, however paedos also use it to signal to one another on-line who and what they are.

The FBI dont know half of them!

Happy reading!
