| Some people are meant to or are equipped to endure certain unpleasant life experiences so they may help others who may not have the skills, support systems in place to help them get through theirs. I am a strong person, and have been fortunate enough to be spared some of the horror stories, outcomes others have endured as a result of my over efficient bull-shit detector...and probably a bit of sheer dumb luck too!!*blush* Sometimes it gets stuck occasionally, (I do tend to believe people when they appear sincere)..but I have worked on this, and in the end I manage to land on my feet, and walk away relatively unscathed and a stronger more resilient person for it. Martyr? Hardly, lol... my pride just wont allow assholes get the bettor of me when I know they have done the wrong thing by either myself or others, this and continue exploiting good people who don't deserve to be treated this way. I have no regrets, not at all, and if my experience can help others, then I will continue telling people about mine and others online experiences. Both good and bad. I am sure there would be others who have experienced much worse, so cant complain, and I have had quite a few wonderful experiences from having interacted with people online also. This said... Being silenced/oppressed means being a victim, and I am neither a victim or will be silenced. I am made of tougher stuff than that so they may think again. Why not turn a negative experience into something positive , by means of alerting others to potential online dangers? This is how I see it, and is how I feel better about what I endured personally. Thanx for listening. | |

| mellie you are not tough, nor do you leave your house. your kids are the victims. you think you can say what you want on the internet about other people and still think you are invincible sadly mistaken. you are paranoid to the max and bullshit your way into thinking you are safe and everythings alright, you know its not and you know everything is coming to a head. Your life will never mount to anything, your kids are going to loathe you do you blame them??? Ask yourself why your so consumed into yahoo and blaming everyone is a peddo? you really are a fuck head, some people would be given a "feel sorry for me" ticket but YOU gets given a "go and get fucked" ticket. You have no friends nor will you. Your only out let is the net. but hey i heard all this from a good source, the only reality you will ever get. | |

| The truth is, I am indeed doing ok, thanx she'sok... (hi there btw, welcome to Ausatire) .....in the last 3 months I have managed to quit smoking, have done well with respects to managing my daughters new school placement, being an advocate for her has been both challenging and rewarding. Both my kids are happy, and doing well at their schools and things are finally back to normal the way they were before my daughter left primary school where she was happy and protected. My own studies suffered a little when we were in the school transition phase however, but not enough to be obvious even to my teachers, a matter of only a few marks due to a couple of slightly late submissions in the thick of what was occurring up at my daughters former mainstream school. I never once applied for an exemption though, or special consideration, (although I could have) this or played the "I have an autistic child card" because this would have gone against my own professional/work ethic, I needed to prove to myself I could cut it even under duress, as life is full of ups and downs, and if we all applied for special treatment for every little thing then none of us would get anything done, would we. But things are back on track now, and I'm powering along quite nicely, even managed to quit smoking recently ...have not had a cigarette for over a month now. I have taken up herbal tea drinking instead, and have just about every flavour on the ruddy supermarket shelf...lol I feel better for talking about what I have experienced online in the way of nut-cases causing trouble for others, (bit of an outlet I guess)... this and hope to alert others to online dangers also. I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and whilst I can only vouch for myself here, can tell you wholeheartedly its given me a set of honorary steel balls, when putting these assholes in their place, and with respects to the profession I hope to enter shortly,I look at it as a bit of a learning curve, a character building exercise in some respects, a test of strength and endurance. I figure if I can cop this crap and still have my marbles, then I can pretty much tackle anything. This and wont go to pieces when someone criticises me professionally, personally later on down the track for something I have written media wise, not to the same degree I probably would have had I not been a human punching bag on yahoo for the past 5 years Every cloud has it's silver lining.... I think this is mine. ... | |

| You know, I recall crying when I received a mere pass for my first ever uni assignment, I had no idea how to write 'scholarly' essays properly as per faculty guideline, and our entire year either slid through on their stomachs (got a pass) or failed. I have come a long way since then, and never would I cry about something like this now. Hell no!!! Besides, he was a short fat prick who suffered vagina envy, was a rude little Italian man with a rather condescending and embarrassing surname which probably gave him the complex to begin with (And I normally love Italians btw). Noone liked him, not even his colleagues, poor bugger now that I think about it, gawd we gave him hell. Lol, he's probably my yahoo stalker come back to haunt me...hahahahha
