| Oh, I see.
I'm against the Government's net filter, therefore I support KP and paedos.
FAR from the truth. Conroy tried that on Senator Ludlum, too.
You are a nut-case. | |

| You are so lucky that this thread started by YOU "Internet Filter to go ahead. - The Coffee Lounge - 15 Dec 2009" has been totally deleted I can't even cache it.
The filters are to get rid of kiddy porn and anything remotely perverse, you sick fuck.Who in their right mind would be against it?
Melli if you read this, can you please fix it so I can post links in here please?
I am off to bed now. |

And they won't work. It is a waste of money, and can and will be gotten around.
The money needs to go to the AFP to actually CATCH the guilty parties.
Are you REALLY as arrogant and stupid as you come across?
I feel sorry for you, in that case.

| Some of those cretins in CL are/were pervicacious pickthanks, and what is it with them that they desperately sort the approval, the company of others they know aren't like them in order to feel validated? See, I think deep down they know what they are/do is wrong, so fooling others into thinking they are worthwhile people in other areas of personal quality/character is as close as it gets to winning normal others approval....this and their perhaps liking themselves if only just a little bit? Because they appear to care more about what regular society thinks about them than the views of their own kind or even their victims.... or else they wouldn't relentlessly pursue those they know have an aversion to their flesh. | |

| It's an unregistered handle, so don't pay too much attention....so typical of troll behaviour, they generally don't take the time to register as their objective is to flame, not discuss.
Probably someone trying to devalue and harm the boards, this and excite others to leave and go elsewhere because it's got it's nose out of joint.
I don't believe a word it says, based on the laws of trolling behaviour....they sneak in to flame, then sit back and wait for others to jump on the bandwagon, which I have not...rather have described others who behaved inappropriately on the board I think it came from.
Dont worry, I don't believe it.
I know a trouble maker when I see one.

| See, it's come in to attack you on the housing commission matter...(my thoughts are that you have one because you are entitled to one for all the right reasons)... we kept it even keel, so now it's taken a stab at trying to convince me you are a sicko. I not silly. I can see what it's doing. What it wants is for me to go off half cocked and abuse my members, the way it abuses it's, if it's who I think it is trying to impersonate another. | |

| Yeah, I don't ever remember you & I having issues between us on Yahurl, no need to do so here, either, I'm only here for a bit of a yarn and some fun. Shame some can't help but bugger things up for others. Sorry if I got a bit carried away with him, but I do hate the way they'll turn what you say inside-out, then make you out to be the bad guy. Loved the way he tried to make out that I was hiding behind the Katanyavich handle, considering that I admitted who I was when I started using it. | |

| I don't have a problem with people who live in housing commission homes, I know quite a few decent people who either have or still reside in them.... (as I mentioned earlier)...I just don't think they should be handed out to anyone willy nilly...especially illegal immigrants requiring emergency accommodation after having been processed when we have our war Vets on pensions living on weetbix after having served their country sleeping at bus shelters and in over crowded hostels because certain populations are given priority over others.
Society discriminates, though bureaucracy more so..., our prejudice often a reaction to the more apparent inequality, not the underlying cause itself.
Ie, should we blame immigrants for their being here sapping our resources, or the system itself for making this possible?
Often this bureaucracy itself is a double edged sword.

| It's ok...you handled the situation well considering I thought. But if you want to have a go back at some stage, (sometimes I get fed up and cut loose too)...by all means, let them have it. This board values free speech...everyone's. | |

| The department of housing isn't means tested, it's income assessed and determined....they take a percentage of your income...so if you lie and say you have 4 kids to 4 unknown fathers who left you...this and they are actually part of your kids lives and pay for this, pay for that on the side...(Like a woman does in the next suburb along from us)...then yes, people do exploit where they can.
Some people know how to work the system to their advantage sit back and collect in government subsidised housing popping out child after child ...simply because they wanted to upgrade to a 4 bedroom house.
A relative of mine works there, (only in the mail room) and she said the system is set up in such a way that it's incredibly difficult to prove when these people are unscrupulously sapping on this service...the best she heard of was a family (in Sydney) renting out their near water front department of housing property to tourists while one of them was over-seas finishing tertiary study. Was a professional of some sort...the house was in her name and she had been living with her parents in a nearby suburb with the 2 kids while he was away.
If it wasn't for a routine inspection, they would never have been caught.
The holidaymakers were just as surprised as the DOH ... well, so they made out anyway.
Where is this woman and her kids now?
Still living in the same property because she cried hardship, and told the DOH she thought it was legal to do that.
She got away with it on account of her not knowing our laws or her rights as a Tennant.

of course, someone always has a story of someone rorting the system. most people are honest and in their DOH house because they are entitled to be there.

most people are honest and in their DOH house because they are entitled to be there. There are thousands of stories like this...they used to put them on shows like 60 minutes, today tonight and Darren Hinch all the time before bureaucracy and PC'ness went mad and gave those who are this way inclined the right to exploit the system to their advantage. Because at the end of the day...the department doesn't care...and doesn't have the field staff to go out and play private detectives anymore. They have now stopped building their own properties, rather are now leasing them from private developers who build them for the purpose of just this, and so long as they are paying the rent, the developers and DOH don't care. They don't care who fills them, just so long as the rents paid.
