A serious talk Carl....

I went out to coffee with a friend this morning, a gay friend of mine, and we began chatting about female hormone therapy.

Whilst my friend has advised he would never consider dabbling in this sort of thing...(he insists he is the male of the relationship)...he would never allow his partner to even contemplate taking them due to their concerning and even 'deadly' side effects...one being suicide.

Seriously, one cyber foe to another, it's in your best interests to abstain from this controversial treatment...by all means, have the chop, but be very weary about hormone therapy.

I didn't say you were borns Carl...I think perhaps borns is a female friend of yours you share handles with...this and permit / permitted to moderate your MCL forum....a scout perhaps?

If you are taking female hormones, you need to stop.

My friends changing male friend commit suicide due to taking this treatment, in the long run, it's very dangerous, especially to your psych.

Be comfortable with the skin you're in....we all end up old, genderless and wrinkly sooner or later anyway....

In the end, it really doesn't matter what gender you are.

Get another opinion, but I kid you not, female hormone supplements have been known to cause suicide.

Ok, if you don't want to stop treatment, how about consulting a Dr to give your body a break for a while, this and to recover properly from the last round of treatment, or enquire about something else you could take to counteract the effects of what you are taking?

Ie, my mother is now on an anti-depressant to counteract the effects of her HRT...just until her body adjusts.

One thing is for certain, you have not been your usual ass-hole 'funny' self lately, of which is rather disappointing.

The lounge is full of bogans, and the decent posters ie Mary, alinta and monkey (so I have noticed lately) don't want a bar of it because it's dull and inane.

Not worth their while popping in to entertain idiots who only want to flame them.

Either raise the standard, or call it exactly what it is....The Bogan Lounge!

At least give people some form of warning, as to what they may expect to stumble across in the place.
