| Why do that when you can get the latest news online. Especially if its is cold rainy and the paper is soggy. Only an idiot would do that. | |

| Yeah and you have to spread them out on the bench to dry and what not.
Not worth the effort. Makes the house look like a n00b emporium. | |

| I do like my crosswords though, so do flick through the first few pages before turning to the middle section admittedly, but only the SMH, not the local ... Not usually, because half the time it doesn't even get delivered. | |

| He usually calls me a noob when I refer to something I am supposed to not even try to, like an un-cool joke and so forth. But he does so in fun, and with a bashful grin on his face.... Try hard perhaps, ??? | |

| Ahhhhhhh, hence the wry/bashful smirk, when I try to talk 'trendy' and desecrate his cool language in the company of his friends. Hey.... this is my reward for being his mum. We parents have to have our fun too you know.. ... I figure if I say it enough, he might stop saying it himself... This and discover there is actually more than 4 letters to each word in the English dictionary. Jeeze I give my kids heaps... I once ran around the house with a hoody on, my son never wore one again. | |

| hahahahah..... he will love that...*grinz* ... It's OK, I have resided myself to the fact that I am most uncool, even though he tells me his friends think I'm cool, for a mum... And usually shortly before asking me to top up his WOW account! | |

| Yup, he's a smarty pants thats for sure... he has big shoes to fill, his school have high expectations of him, even his principle has organised something very special for him, she's absolutely lovely....really pulled through when it come to having my daughter placed at her new school. And she's smart too. It's a big job teachers have these days, principles more so. | |

| Yeah, with the internet, if a kid wants to he can bypass his teachers knowledge. So the teachers have to be on their toes big time. | |

| He's a good kid too, smart but good, the teachers luv him... He's smart, but not facetious or smug, he's modest, and I like this about my son. He knows he has it, but doesn't stuff it down peoples throats, this or shows off. ... He's definitely smarter than me... Mental giant with a heart of gold. Rare combination these days. | |
