I logged off off yesterday afternoon around 3pm, and have only just logged back in today.

Why? Because I had some visitors over for dinner last night, and my daughter and her friends were using my computer late into the evening ....(it's now school holidays here).... while we parents sat at my kitchen table and chatted after dinner. We then progressed into the lounge room with hot chocolates and marshmallows and watched some amusing home DVD's, (one of my friends brought over mine and her daughters year 6 farewell DVD from last year)...hers was more amusing than mine because she got to stay after all the parents had to leave the school (she's a school helper & support teacher also), so we watched that, then progressed into some old DVD's and even older videos of our own. ....*my poor son cringed* ahhahaha... sorry I couldn't make it back here yesterday afternoon or last night so.....


We cant all lead abnormal lives like you you know.


So, what have I missed?

The irony is of course, that I really don't need to sprout some fictionalised rendition of my own life's events in order to feel validated, actually would find it intrinsically embarrassing doing so...hence I tell the truth, always have!

Why lie?

I used to put pics up of my real life events, activities as they unfolded,(was a bit of a novelty for me at first I think, in the months after I got my new digital camera) though found this served to antagonise those who genuinely held contempt for me further, so decided to keep my photos to myself in future.... afterall, what was the point in sharing them with people who really had no interest in seeing them?

See, these images only served to reinforce the reality of their own predicaments , (I suspect a few of them are in prison or something), why else would they get it in for someone who brought their own happy memories to the forum?

Would you believe some went so far as to accuse me of being a liar...claimed they were pics I had stolen from the web....despite my having even gone so far as provided them with the name of the resort , room number, and even resort phone number so they could call and check to see if I had really been there when I said I had? Same with Jenolan caves, these same miserable people just couldn't for the life of them fathom the prospect of someone actually having some sort of real life away from yahoos boards.

Why did I bother?

Well, at first I actually thought they believed I was trying to pull their leg or something, thought if I proved it then they might give me some peace.., but I quickly come to realise it was simply a case of them knowing I had been to the places , it was just were desperately trying to convince themselves and others otherwise out of spite and jealousy.

Sad really!

And that's the Yahoo standard, and is why perfectly normal people leave the boards and don't often wish to post there among bitter nasty people much these days.

Who can blame them?

Not me!

This said, there's a part of me that still feels sorry for people like these.

Sometimes I get the urge to cut off a chunk of my own happiness , if I really thought this would do the trick.


When I think we all know, this would be pointless...some people just don't want to be happy or at peace with themselves and others.


I have no idea why this is.
