PostSubject: Re: Truth is subjective   Truth is subjective Icon_minitimeWed 3 Feb 2010 - 12:25

One things for certain....

Liars are their own worst enemy....whether they are deceiving themselves, (like I do occasionally) or worse, intentionally setting out to deceive others for personal gratification, gain with malicious intent. These people nauseate me....

If I'm going to lie, it will be to my own bare face...not someone else's.

I have never told lies about my personal circumstances, but I have lied to myself once or twice... and I don't know which is worse.

Perhaps you could tell me?

I am also very good at changing the subject.... when confronted with a question I know is inevitable, and cant be avoided, no matter how hard I try.

Why have I mastered the art of passive avoidance?

Well, I have no readily available excuse for this.... I just do it.

I was lying to myself when I thought I could use the internet to distract myself.

OK...it works to a degree... if I could find some way of amputating my thoughts from my fingers for just one moment.......this and stop incriminating myself and disappointing people I love and care about so as to avoid what I fear most.

Do you know what this is?

But I am a freaking hopeless liar at the best of times...it's not inherent in my character to be deceptive and dishonest.... so shoot me. Just don't tell me anything I know I wouldn't want myself to know... and all should be fine.

I am honest ...but I don't think this is a quality sometimes, best you know this now.

Lie to me if you think you have to, I wont hold this against you.

I can be honest to a fault... ever seen a kid dob in their own much adored parent for doing something illegal?

Well, this is what I did.

I have a thing inside me that wants to put wrongs right, (probably would have made a great good-cop) .... if it weren't for my overwhelming sense of moral justice which self-righteously clouds the way of logic from time to time...this and a bad experience with a corrupt Fairfield police.

I am an open book....but there are just some things I feel I really need to keep to myself, and you , to yourself.... matters of the heart and so forth....why must it be so legible, is nothing sacred?

I dobbed my dad in when I was 13... thought I was doing the right thing, (by him) thought I was saving him...from something... THE DEVILS WEED MY GRANDMOTHER CALLED IT!!!

He called me said how the cops burned all his plants, I felt terrible, guilty as shit...like it was my fault.... (well, it was) and I never told him it was me trying to fix or save him.

But I think he knows.

I lied to him.... acted surprised, and felt ashamed of myself.

I have never lied to him since.

I am an adult now... and realise he's a mature man with a broken back requiring pain relief... this and an extraordinary history...

Very different to mine.... my life has been comparability uneventful.

But our culture, and class were so different, was like we lived worlds apart.

I hate the way I cant delete my own posts once they have been replied to.

Smile.... It's OK!!!

Sometimes my black and white mind set gets the better of me, I know this...

But I'm working on it, and if you know me well enough to know that some things are best left unsaid, or disclosed,....

Then I trust your judgement of my character.

Look where it landed me last time, eh??!!

Smile

I don't need nor want to know everything, nor do I need to.

Love doesn't discriminate, only people do.

No, it's OK...

We all have to stare truth in the face at some point...it might as well be now.

Smile...Could be worse....

Mary, I could delete the entire thread if I logged into admin if I really wanted to...but sometimes it's humbling to just accept what is, as being just that...

IS!

Is why I need to scratch up the courage to do more than I have to date.

I cant find a suitable emoticon to describe my facial

expression right now....but *wiping the sweat from my brow/relief* if there were such an emoticon would suffice.

I am too passive... when it comes to matters of the heart...

someone special to me brought it to my attention that I had not contacted them for a while...OMG... imagine how my dad feels... Sad

I really need to fix this.
