| An unusual spin on the traditional Australian pavlova ...sugar roasted hazelnuts , with hazlenut liqueur with vanilla bean cream and just strawberrys on top.
We were getting a bit tired of the traditional Pav, so thought we'd have something different this year.....well, it hit the spot.
:)Anyway...thats it...am off to bed after this next pic...

| Anyone else celebrate Australia day? If so...what did you get up to? ..btw, those lobsters weren't local, were probably the worst lobsters I have ever eaten. Flavourless, not sweet, dry and just really wished I had have got to the seafood shop before all the good ones (local) were snapped up. The oysters and prawns made up for it though. | |

| The lobsters were atrocious however.... a bit of a downer.. They looked ok under the florescent lighting in the seafood shop. |

| Lol..trust me they were as dry as a bone...ok, i'm probably winging, but even my stepfather waited for me to whinge about them before he agreed with me lol I thought because they were little ones, they would be sweet....bit like school prawns....boy was I wrong. Never mind, the oysters made up for it. | |

| Regarding lobsters.... When I lived in Wollongong many years ago, I had a mate who did a lot of diving. He used to bring me some lovely 'freshies', still alive, they were bloody superb, almost TOO nice to eat. | |
